Mockster has now passed certification and has been deployed througout Microsofts servers. It has been quite a journey, and we are finally in public preview! This means that for a while there is preview label on the connector, but all the functionality is there to be used. We'll get generally available after some time has passed and Mockster finds its users.

Certification path has been quite interesting and I've personally learned so much about different aspects of Microsoft Power Platform. As a senior consultant on Power Platform this experience has been priceless. Can't wait to get through that final hurdle of getting preview tag away. We'll get there.

If you have any questions or suggestions for further development, please visit Mocksters GitHub. If you like using Mockster, please consider supporting me via GitHub sponsors.

Happy developing with mockstered data 😍

Certification process has finally reach deployment stage. This means Microsoft is deploying Mockster as a connector to all their datacenters currenty. That's awesome. 🥳

So you might find Mockster in Power Automate, Power Apps or Logic Apps already. If you don't, give a couple of weeks for the deployment to roll out completely ⏳

I really hope I'm able to help some citizen developers with Mockster. (Pro Devs, you are welcome as well ofc 😍)

One time, I was training a Microsoft Official Course about Power Platform, I was asked how can one generate some testing data to Dataverse. Had no idea. I researched quite a while and couldn't find anything just right for citizen developers. There are so many mock data generators, JSON fakers, data seeders and so on. None I could find makes it easy for non-programmers to use. So Mockster was born.

Mockster is an implementation of FakerJS exposed as an REST API. I've also created a Microsoft Power Platform connector for easy use for citizen developers, which for now is in the acceptance process to become a certified connector.

While we wait certification, the API itself is up and running. Hope you find it usefull!
